YEAR 7 ACADEMICALLY SELECTED CLASS

Pennant Hills High School has at least one Year 7 class established annually on the basis of high academic achievement.

The formation of this class is based on results in public examinations attempted while the child is in primary school, as well as data and information supplied from the child's Year 6 teachers and school.

To ensure greater validity to our selection process, for the first time in 2009, Pennant Hills High will also require children seeking placement in this academically selected class for 2010 sit an externally set and marked placement test.

Parents wishing to have their child placed in the academically selected class in 2010 will need to register and pay for their child to sit this placement test.

The test will be conducted on the afternoon Saturday April 4, 2009 in the Pennant Hills High School Multi Purpose Centre.
